约亨·库恩，德国动画大师。在上世纪70年代开始绘画，但对绘画没有产生太大的兴趣。后在拍摄绘画过程中发现了动画的乐趣。其绘画风格粗犷，略显原始，带有肌理性。既非耸人听闻，也不怀旧，而是带有浓郁的阴沉。善于利用蒙太奇，在梦幻与现实，道德与世界之间揭示绘画的流动性。仿佛艺术家的手或他本身进入了画面，创建一个个透视变化，用梦幻般的忧郁感以及一些更黑暗简洁的时刻，温柔的机智和黑色幽默来讲述一些日常事件。
